From Cbr: "Captain Marvel" fans may have a reason to rejoice -- Carol Danvers steward Kelly Sue DeConnick and artist David Lopez are the subject of the second teaser today from Marvel Comics, teasing a "Higher" new #1 issue from the creative team via Marvel.com.
Although a new renumbering of "Captain Marvel" in the same vein as faux renumbering of "Avengers" #24.NOW as "Avengers" #1 in All-New Marvel NOW! is likely, a brand new series by DeConnick and Lopez isn't out of the question. However, considering DeConnick's comments in August about "Captain Marvel's" future, despite its absence on the November solicitations and December solicitations, it's likely that the "Higher" teased book is part of bringing back Carol Danvers in some form.

From Cbr: Marvel Comics went through a massive blitz of teasers last week in preparation for its New York Comic Con 2013 panel schedule, releasing no less than six images in the same style as the original Marvel NOW! one-word teasers. It looks like the teasers will continue, as the publisher has just released an image with the word "Sinners" in red, teasing the creative team of "Thunderbolts" writer Charles Soule and "Nova" artist Carlo Barberi.
"Sinners" and its red coloring certainly implies the book might have something to do with Deadpool -- especially considering Soule's current assignment as "Thunderbolts" writer and Barberi's previous experience drawing the character alongside scribe Daniel Way.
Much like the rest of the one-world All-…Read more >
From Cbr: Marvel Comics maintains the pace Friday with another "All-New Marvel NOW!" teaser image -- its seventh in a week -- this time promoting a presumably Avengers-related project from writers Jonathan Hickman and Nick Spencer, and artist Stefano Caselli.
The latest teaser features the word "global" in green. Hickman's "Avengers" run has had a global -- and interplanetary -- bent since its start last year, with a stated goal of expanding the team's scope, and a first arc titled "Avengers World." Yet it was revealed earlier this month that Hickman and artist Esad Ribic are on board for the first post-"Infinity" "Avengers" arc, the five-part "Rogue Planet" starting in December -- suggesting this teaser is related to companion title "New Av…Read more >
From Cbr: The end of Peter David's epic "X-Factor" run at Marvel Comics was the end of an era for the series, and many fans wondered what the writer's next project at Marvel might be. One piece of that puzzle was revealed on Marvel's Twitter with another one-word teaser for the publisher's presence at New York Comic Con 2013: "Corporate." The teaser, which indicates David and artist Carmine Di Giandomenico as the creative team has a large number one in the background, implying a new series for the duo.
The "Corporate" image -- the third NYCC teaser today from Marvel -- is likely teasing a follow-up to David's "X-Factor" run as a possible new incarnation of the team was referenced in the pages of the series' final arc. David teased his new pr…Read more >
From Cbr: Marvel Comics' latest teaser image suggests that Dan Slott and Mike Allred are teaming on a new series, with details announced next month at New York Comic Con.
Like Thursday morning's "Mindbubble" teaser, the background of the Slott/Allred image contains a "1," hinting that Slott is potentially writing his first non-Spider-Man series for the first time since the previous volume of "Mighty Avengers" ended in 2010.
Slott appeared at a spotlight panel during WonderCon in Anaheim this past March, and, according a panel report from the Los Angeles Times, his computer was projected on a screen, with visible files labeled with the name "Silver Surfer." Answering a question about the cosmic hero, Slott said, "It would be fun, and I’m, you …Read more >
From Newsarama: Update: First there's a trial (see below), and then there is a verdict, or "JUDGMENT" as Marvel puts it in their second "All-New Marvel NOW!" teaser released Wednesday.
Like their "TRIAL" teaser from Wednesday morning, this new one also teases a project by Brian Bendis, this time with Sarah Pichelli as the artist, also to be revealed at next month's Amazing X-Men and the Marvel Universe panel at New York Comic Con.
Original story: Marvel Comics is back with what we assume will be a series of new teasers for what the publisher continues to bill as the "All-New Marvel NOW! "
Showing a new design from the original series of Marvel NOW! teasers, "TRIAL" promises something from creators Brian Bendis and Stuart Immonen, and will appa…Read more >

Marvel teasers like "Are we...?" and "Is she...?" has been revealed that these teasers have been for the Inhumanity! (with "Inhumanity" #1)
The only text accompanying the image reads: "They walk among us. All will be revealed, September 18th!" Given that Sept. 18 is a Wednesday -- and thus new comic book day that could point to "Inhumanity"-related revelations in a Marvel comic out that week, potentially "Infinity" #3.
It's also possible that Marvel plans on revealing more "Inhumanity" details on that date. "Inhumanity" starts in December, and Marvel's solicitations for that month will be released in mid-September.
"Inhumanity" was announced by Marvel in July as a major event spinning out of "Infinity." The story sees millions of Inhuman desc…Read more >
From Marvel.com: By Ben Morse
With the world plunged into Inhumanity, how do the X-Men fight back?
The events of INFINITY will lead to a major status quo change for the Inhumans, but how will that impact the Marvel Universe's most maligned subset of superpowered beings, mutants? Brian Michael Bendis will begin to address the matter this December in UNCANNY X-MEN.
"This is the number one question people have been asking since they heard about Inhumanity and the rise of the Inhumans," says the writer in regard to how mutants in general and the X-Men in specific will be affected. "What is the difference between mutants and Inhumans? How will they coexist? What will their relationship be? We will be answering these questions immediately."
Inhumans …Read more >
From Cbr: "Inhumanity: The Awakening" spins out of the events of Kindt's "Infinity: The Hunt," which debuts this week, and explores what the effects of "Inhumanity" mean for the youths of the Marvel Universe.
"Think back to when you were 16 and the things that you used to define yourself," editor Bill Rosemann told Marvel.com. "Things like your family, your history and where you come from. Now imagine if one day you realize everything you know about yourself is wrong--and, oh yeah, you have spikes sprouting up all over your body and your hands spray acid. … It's up to the students of the Avengers Academy and the Jean Grey School to save these young adults before they destroy everything around them."
As Kindt explores the effect of "Inhumanity…Read more >
From CBR: Writer James Robinson and artist Steve Pugh will team up for "All-New Invaders," a series launching in January as part of the All-New Marvel NOW! initiative that will also cast a spotlight on such characters as the Inhumans, Black Widow and Silver Surfer.
According to USA Today, the follow-up to last year's successful Marvel NOW! campaign, which saw the debut of several new titles while providing jumping-on points for others, will kick off Dec. 24 with "Avengers" #24.NOW. Written by Jonathan Hickman and drawn by Esad Ribic, the issue finds Captain America and Iron Man recruiting a new team to stop a runaway planet that's hurtling toward Earth.
The Sentinel of Liberty also features prominently in "All-New Invaders," naturally, as he…Read more >

Nightcrawler is back!!! With a new and amazing X-men team! The Amazing X-men!
“Firestar is going to take her place as a major X-Men character for the first time,” Lowe added, pointing to her on the cover of the first issue along with Azazel. The panel then called Aarons and had the room cheer into the phone.
